Between 1996 and 2004, a number of companies were established in various specialties within the healthcare and construction sectors to address market demands. Over time, we came together as a unified group, integrating our operations to offer a comprehensive, one-stop service solution for our customers. In 2003, the decision was made to name this group of companies and bureaus "A.G.M.E.S.T." This name was created by taking the first letter "A" from the name of the first bureau, which was established in 1993. The letters in the acronym stand for the following: "G" is for Group, "M" is for Medical, "E" is for Engineering, "S" is for Solutions, and "T" is for Technologies.
The name AGMEST became the brand name for our group of companies and was officially registered in Iraq and Jordan in 2004 as "AGMEST Group Investment and Development PSH Co." In the year 2000, the group headquarters moved to Amman to improve logistics, enhance financial facilities, and facilitate better international communications. However, all sales operations and technical services continue to be based in Baghdad.
AGMEST's sole activity before 9th April 2003 was to provide technical services, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site service and training applications, to international vendors delivering their equipment to the healthcare sector in Iraq.
AGMEST maintains a clear focus on service quality and efficiency, having earned a strong reputation in the independent healthcare sector for consistently achieving these values.
AGMEST has significantly expanded and is actively applying its knowledge and skills in marketing and sales, along with its accumulated experience in technical services. This positions the group ahead in the competitive market landscape of the new Iraq.
AGMEST group now specializes in a wider range of business activities, including site work services, engineering services, project management, project implementation, supporting services, marketing, sales and distribution, and after-sales service in the following specialties:
